Make sure to watch the inaugural event of the World Series of Golf on NBC this weekend June 23rd and 24th. The event is made up of everyday golfers who anted up $10,000 each to enter the tournament. The format is based on Texas Hold ‘Em Poker where players must ante before each tee shot, and can bet, raise and fold on each hole. There will be some great drama played out on the course. The winner will end up taking home $250,000! Not a bad payday just for playing a couple rounds of golf.
Make sure you check it out on NBC this coming weekend!

Like all good things the PGA charity challenge is coming to an end. So make sure you play hard and get yourself qualified to win the Trip to Hawaii or Trip to Las Vegas and play the Bai Hai in person. We have over 200 winners already!
After Sunday you will still be able to continue playing and register to post your best scores, but not for prizes. Registering also puts you on our BETA test list and you will be notified the next time we run an event. Thanks for all the great rounds and we hope to see you on the tour soon.
Below is a picture of Kiawah Ocean Course. If you can’t tell we are really excited to bring this to you in 2008.

We have a new leader in the clubhouse! We were starting to think the MFR821’s 63.89 was going to be the low score, but in the past two days there has been a flurry of lower scores posted. First, Srcmnporpus fired an impressive 57.33…then Bayou took over with a 56.94. Now, BigSid shows up with his “A” game and cards a very impressive 49.16! I have a hard time believing that anyone will beat this score, but with the way the scores have been improving you never know what will happen.
Just a quick statistic for those keeping track…17 out of the top 20 scores have been shot using the Pro Series TaylorMade TP clubs. If you want to attempt to shoot a low score, you may want to switch to the TP irons if you haven’t already. You can change your clubs by going to the PROFILE page and clicking the Change Clubs button next to your username. Good luck!
Look at this amazing scorecard where BigSid posted his 49.16!!!

This comment was posted by a World Golf Tour player who attends Harvard challenging their rival, Yale, to a World Golf Tour competition. Let’s see if the “Yalies” are willing to step-up and accept the challenge!
Harvard v. Yale:
We, the undergraduate class of 2011, challenge those Yalie punks in New Haven to a match the greatest internet sport ever, the greatest game ever -World Golf Tour, Inc. What would you Yalies be willing to pony-up per hole per freshman?
Please contact us at Facebook and mention www.worldgolftour.com and look for the Harvard/Yale challenge.
