Ranked #1 & #2 : Congrats to Pinehurst and Kiawah Island
Just published in the latest issue of Travel + Leisure Golf, Pinehurst Resort was named the #1 course in the US and Kiawah Island Golf Resort is #2. These 2 courses are amazing and managed by top notch staffs who deserve the recognition. Nice work and we can’t wait to experience these courses online at World Golf Tour.

I played the ocean @ Kiawah Island on 9-9-07. I think that this course is over rated & there golf staff need more instruction on customer service. My rental clubs & bag looked like they had been draged behind a golf cart for 18 holes before they got to me. Also @ Kiawah the other golf course’s, I played Osprey Point, Turtle Point & Cougar Point on the 10,11& 12 Sept 07. At each of these course’s I rec clean Titleist clubs & bag W/a 4pack of new Titleist balls to start the day. When I called the Ocean course & asked why I was not treated the same when I was @ the Ocean I was told that they had no answer & they did not invite me to come back to the Ocean course to see if they could try to make it up to me. As ive said this course is way overpriced for what you get for your money. Thank you for your time. Al Beauchesne

Sorry that you had a rough experience at the course. I’m not sure what was the cause but I can assure you that the team at Kaiwah are really great guys and that it is not the normal situation to issue unsatisfactory rental equipment. All the best Ted.
