Golfers love new gadgets, and I’ve always been fascinated by the remote-controlled, robotic variety. Part of the fascination is that I don’t actually know anyone who owns one, so I have no first-hand experience of them. Golf bloggers and reviewers reliably fawn over them, though I doubt they own one themselves. But they must be selling well, because they are becoming ever more loaded with features, and even Segway has joined the fray and come out with their own version. Do you own one, and if so, does it live up to the hype?

So the not too secret, secret is… World Golf Tour is about to open up our beta to the public to play. The beta will have all the main features to swing a club and play a HD quality virtual course online. The Open Beta is similar to a movie trailer, where we show the public certain features of the product to obtain feedback and hone the experience.
